A content platform the Beat team could manage themselves
Laid the foundations for a follow-up project which would focus on surfacing the right resources to the right people – you can read The Developer Society’s Helpfinder case study on their website: dev.ngo/work/beat-helpfinder/
The project
The project aimed to build longevity into Beat’s digital infrastructure by moving their front-facing site to wagtail (an open-source CMS). After the initial replatforming, a follow-up project would focus on surfacing the right resources to the right people – you can read The Developer Society’s Helpfinder case study on their website.

The components
My job, as the designer on this project, was to refresh the brand’s digital identity and create a comprehensive set of UI components. As Beat would manage and regularly update the site content in-house, it was important that my work was modular and could be combined effectively into a range of different content types.

Page designs
I created some of the main content types using the component library to demonstrate how the components could be used.

I also proposed a site structure that met the organisation’s key goals, and created a click-through prototype so that we could test the site with users to gather feedback.
